is a visionary leader and entrepreneur making waves in the entertainment industry as the CEO of a dynamic film and music production company Purple Dimple Dream Productions based in Harlem, New York. 

Born in Jackson, MI and raised in the vibrant cultural landscape of Indianapolis, IN Alexis Hardman developed a deep passion for storytelling and music at a young age.

Alexis's journey to self-discovery and empowerment took shape as she immersed herself in the diverse fabric of her hometown of Indianapolis, IN and by her mother instilling in her the importance of black history. She was drawn to the stories of resilience, triumph, and everyday heroism that defined the lives of those around her. However, she also keenly felt the absence of these narratives in mainstream media – a gap that fueled her determination to change the narrative.

Alexis graduated from Arsenal Technical High school where she was a part of the journalism department, and a student photographer and videographer. She would graduate in 2013 with high honors and pursue a higher education at Indiana University.

In 2017, at the age of 22 Alexis embarked on a transformative chapter of her life, moving to New York City to pursue her dreams to attend the prestigious New York Film Academy (NYFA). It was there that her passion for storytelling intersected with her desire to amplify the voices of Black creators. Through her studies in screenwriting and filmmaking, Alexis honed her craft, determined to craft narratives that authentically portrayed the beauty, complexity, and humanity of Black experiences.

From the bustling streets of New York City to the glitz and glamour of Hollywood, Alexis Hardman’s journey is imbued with a deep-rooted passion for her identity and the stories she yearns to tell. Growing up, Alexis was captivated by the rich tapestry of Black culture that surrounded her, and from an early age, she felt a profound sense of responsibility to uplift and celebrate the narratives of her community.

With her newfound skills and unwavering dedication, Alexis ventured to Los Angeles, the epicenter of the entertainment industry. There, she decided to go beyond what she thought she could and exploit her film and music projects in a positive way, driven by a singular mission: to elevate and empower Black voices in media. With unwavering determination and a relentless drive, she established her own film and music production company, carving out her niche in the bustling industry. In addition to producing her own projects, Alexis also dedicated herself to nurturing local talent, managing aspiring artists and guiding them towards success in the competitive world of LA's entertainment scene.

Alexis poured her heart and soul into each project, meticulously shaping stories that challenged stereotypes, shattered barriers, and celebrated the richness of Black culture.

For Alexis, storytelling is more than just a passion – it's a calling, a vehicle for change, and a testament to the resilience and beauty of her community. Through her work, she strives to create a world where Black narratives are not only heard but celebrated, cherished, and embraced by audiences around the globe.
